The Operations Manager reports directly to the business owner, managing all aspects of the business on behalf of the owner’s directive.
They will oversee the smooth running of all business, office, front of house and skipper operations all year round.
Due to the unusual nature of the business, full training will be provided for all technical and skipper related areas.
However, the ideal candidate will need to be competent and experienced in hospitality and business management upon application.
Liaising with FOH, Office and skipper managers

Wet/dry stock management
Event planning and Marketing delegation
Managing day shifts or night functions
Technical understanding of boat and ability to drive
Managing business partnerships/relationships
Understanding of employment law and human resources
First aid/safety management
Ordering and managing uniforms
Overseeing security systems
Qualities and skills needed
Strong management and leadership skills
Self-motivated and disciplined
Highly experienced in Hospitality
Computer literate in word, excel, publisher, outlook with good knowledge of the internet
Enthusiastic and polite

40 – 50 hours per week, although largely office based but will regularly involve being out and about and able to step
in when required for alternative shifts and roles on the boat itself. The Operations Manager will be expected to work
hours to fit the needs of the business which may involve weekends and evenings when required, working typically 5
out of 7 days. Holidays are to be taken out of season between November-February.
Mon- Sun (5 out of 7 days)
Salary £25,000 per annum
28 days holiday to be taken out of season (November – February)

Sabrina is a triple deck, modern passenger boat capable of carrying 60 passengers in comfort with retractable roof and
sides on the top deck. An independent business, with local management on board, the focus is to provide a first class
service to both day and evening passengers. We operate six cruises a day, 7 days a week between 1st March to 31st
October, as well as our daily cruises we also operate evening private events and themed events. We also have two
smaller boats the Picnic Boat and the Pirate Boat which are available for private hire of up to 10 guests.
